浅間山麓森のてまえ、かつては人が行き交う要所でもあった軽井沢追分。その地にあったドライブインを改修してつくったhotelli（ホテル）。森に静かに帰化していきたいと“still（シュティル）“と名づけました。森は四季折々表情を変えていきます。過ごされる方が静かに森と一体となれるように。

haluta hotelli still is located in front of the Asama mountain foothills forest building that was originally a place to rest and have a meal for people coming and going to the mountains of Nagano ken.  We took over this building in 2021 and renovated completely to what it is now. 
The national forest embracing our place invites us to enjoy the changing seasons from an interior that is quiet and comfortable. We should feel one within this space; indoor and outdoor. 

location｜周辺環境

軽井沢追分。軽井沢中心地から車で15分程度で、かつて宿場町の風情も感じられる落ち着いたエリアです。しなの鉄道「信濃追分」駅からタクシーで5分ほどの距離。追分の市井に暮らす人と同じように過ごせる、落ち着いた空気がこのstillにも流れています。

Karuizawa Oiwake, about fifteen minutes by car from the center of Karuizawa, passing the old part of the Oiwake area, a place where you can feel the atmosphere of an old town. From the Shinano Oiwake train station five minutes by taxi to “still” building. 

facilities｜設備

stillは20年のあいだ時を止めていたドライブインの躯体のみを残し再生させた空間です。周囲の環境に配慮し調和するstillは運営母体のhalutaの理念でもある「引き継ぐ」を体現した建築とも言えます。
限りある資源のなかで冷暖房設備に頼る日本の住環境の見直しは焦眉の問題とも言えます。stillはデンマークの厳しい冬を快適にする100%自然由来の断熱材「ロックウール」で建物を覆っています。外壁と内壁の間に組み込まれたロックウールは目に見えることはありませんが、ひとびとの暮らしを守るノルディックスタンダードです。断熱性能の向上と空気環境を快適にする設計が施されたstill。寒暖差による心身の不調や集中の改善など、“空気の良さ”を体験することできます。

still is a space that has been transformed, leaving only the skeleton of a drive-in that stopped in time for 20 years. Harmonising with the surrounding environment, still can be said to be an architecture that embodies the philosophy of haluta, the parent organisation of the building.
After a review of the living environment in Japan, which relies on air-conditioning equipment among limited resources,  “still” covers the building with 100% naturally derived heat insulation “Rockwool” that provides comfort during the harsh Nord European winters. Rockwool is embedded between the outer wall and the inner walls therefore it is invisible, but it is a Nordic standard in construction that protects people’s lives. Still is designed to improve insulation performance and comfortably care for the air environment.

3つのテーマ“grand room”、“studio”、“terrace”の部屋をご用意。1部屋2名様までご宿泊いただけるプライベートなhotelliです。すべての部屋に、ツインベッド、ダイニング、キッチン、バスタブ、トイレが備え付けられており、寛げる空間が広がっています。
家具はすべてヴィンテージ家具による設え。2000年からヴィンテージ家具を扱うなかで収集されたユニークピースによる個性のある空間を設えています。内装は、天然素材を組合せて設計し、ゲストにとって理想的な空間をつくり出しています。 また、塗料なども負荷の少ないものを使用し、プラスチック製品は使用せず、環境に配慮したhotelli運営を目指しています。
“still”とは、ドイツ語で「静寂」という意味。心穏やかに過ごして欲しいという願いを込められた空間で、自分だけの時間を過ごしてください。

haluta has been providing vintage furniture maintenance since 2000. For our rooms at haluta hotelli we have chosen valuable pieces that have been handed down from one generation to another. 
Each room is designed combining vintage furniture, objects, different natural materials, to create the ideal space for our guests. 
“still” means “silence” in German language. Staying at haluta hotelli still should be an experience that provides our guests with comfort, rest and warmth while feeling like at home.

breakfast｜朝食

halutaは、食住の好循環を提案しています。朝ごはんという小さなステップから、好循環を広げていく試みとして、haluta bageriのオーガニック素材を使った栄養価が高く、おいしいパンを朝食にご用意しています。

haluta hotelli is part of haluta bakery, therefore we are very proud to offer our handmade delicious bread made with organic ingredients. At haluta hotelli still, freshly baked bread is served every morning for breakfast.
